No. Sorry. We love animals, but having just renovated the entire house, we don't want any messes. So, no pets.

So much! There are a winery and brewery right around the corner and next door to each other: Stone Silo Brewery and 61 Vineyard on Kemptown Road. So if some in your group want beer and some want wine, you just walk across the field to the other place! Outdoor and indoor seating at both. There are many more wineries close by and there are brochures for all of them at the house. Also, downtown Frederick is only 15 minutes away. Plenty of restaurants and gift stores there. You can walk the canal that is usually decorated at holidays - A beautiful display you shouldn't miss. There are also good restaurants nearby: Wilcoms Inn serves a mean brunch as well as other meals; Monocacy Crossing Restaurant has American cuisine and indoor and outdoor seating - weather permitting; Downtown Mt. Airy also has several good places to eat: Tony Pazzo's Italian; Upper Deck sports bar; Mt. Airy Inn.
